This kimono's pattern was created with an insane number of tiny dots. It's unclear to me if this was painstakingly created one dot at a time, or if a printer was used by using a handmade base.
I haven't found any repeating in the errors made in the pattern, so it's quite likely that starch was painted into the fabric, then it was dyed green, and finally the starch was cleaned out, leaving the pattern we see. Most printed patterns use a computer-made design, but this kimono pattern appears a bit too "clean" to me for it to have been purely hand crafted.
Anyways, the important part is that the pattern looks pretty cool close up. The fabric is nice and soft and has a cool glimmer to it. ;)
