This cheerful, nostalgic design was created out of a love for sunny afternoons — and a love for gingham. Classic, timeless, and full of charm, gingham evokes visions of afternoon picnics, country living, fresh baked pies and clotheslines full of clean laundry drying in the sunshine. We’ve captured those feelings in this whimsical kimono, with its easy, lived-in color palette. Featuring printed heritage gingham trimmed with strawberries by artist Elisabeth van de Kasteele, and a printed cross-stitch “patch” taken from a sampler done in 1836 by Eliza Hulse (who was 8 years old when she stitched it :)). Wear it running errands, out to the lake, or take it on a picnic — everywhere you go, it’s a happy day
